It consists of a smoke DETECTOR with relay outputs mounted in an adapter system. The pipe as well as the housing are specially designed for optimal airflow through the smoke DETECTOR.<br \/>\nThe system meets all requirements for effective fire detection with airflow speeds from 0.2 m\/s to 20 m\/s.<br \/>\nA venturi pipe with auxiliary fan can be used to detect smoke in situations where ventilation is switched off, resulting in limited airflow in the duct.<br \/>\nUniguard has a built-in control unit to operate fire dampers and fans, or to activate acoustic and\/or optical alarms, etc.<br \/>\nSince the duct smoke DETECTOR is equipped with a bayonet lock, it can be easily replaced.<br \/>\nUG-3-A50 has an intelligent monitoring circuit that continuously checks and adjusts sensitivity for optimal functionality throughout the entire lifespan of the DETECTOR. When the duct smoke DETECTOR can no longer compensate for environmental influences, a service alarm is triggered. This indicates that it is time to replace or clean the DETECTOR.<br \/>\nUniguard Superflow has 4 pre-assembled Klikseal-type IP67 approved cable entries with automatic strain relief for cable diameters 4 \u2013 11 mm.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"firstline\">Installation<\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/beteccontrols.nl\/product\/vr-0-6m\/\">venturi pipe<\/a> is made of aluminum and can be easily shortened. It can then be fitted to the diameter of the duct. Hole \u00d8 is 38 mm. For insulated\/round ducts with mounting bracket, \u00d8 51 mm.<\/p>\n<p>Once installation is complete, it is necessary to test the duct smoke DETECTOR. The test can be performed with test spray SOLO A5 (from Calectro). A short spray through the test hole in the cover should be sufficient. Replace the plastic plug after the test.<\/p>\n<p>NB: If installation takes place outdoors or in cold attics, etc., the DETECTOR must be insulated from ambient air.
