Application and installation
For example on butterfly valves, ball valves and safety valves. Because the actuator has a double square drive, you couple directly to the shaft. Manual operation is also provided for service. Note: in Ex-zones always use an Ex junction box and comply with local standards.
FAQ
Is this actuator suitable for my application?
Yes, compared to alternatives the RedMax-50.75-S covers both valves and dampers thanks to its 95° travel and the specified torque.
How fast does the spring return respond?
Not applicable
What feedback do I get?
2 auxiliary switches.
Do I need an Ex junction box?
Yes, unlike safe zones, in zone 2/22 you must use an Ex junction box (for example RedBox) for wiring.
