Schischek, a division of Rotork, specializes in explosion-proof valve and gate actuators, sensors, and controllers. These products are designed for applications in which gas, vapor, mist, or dust may pose an explosion hazard. The appropriate product series depends on the hazard zone and the required certification.
For ATEX Zones 1, 2, 21, and 22. The ExMax series is designed for gas and dust environments with the most stringent explosion protection requirements.
For ATEX Zones 2 and 22. RedMax offers a compact, explosion-proof solution for environments where an explosive atmosphere is not expected to be present continuously.
For safe industrial environments. InMax uses the same robust drive technology for installations that do not require explosion-proof certification.
The three series include actuators for air dampers and valves, with different torques, operating times, and safety features. There are many models and control options available, including open/closed, 3-point, and modulating, with or without Spring return. Options such as stainless steel housings, marine coatings, and low-temperature versions make these products suitable for use in harsh environments.
In addition to actuators, the Schischek product line includes, among other things, explosion-proof pressure and temperature transmitters, sensors, controllers, and solutions for VAV and volume flow control.
Explosion protection requires careful coordination of the zone, medium, temperature class, torque, and desired safety function. Betec Controls assists you with the technical selection process and determines which model is suitable for your system. Various standard models are available from stock; for custom projects, we will inform you in advance of the current lead time.
