In the 1960s, Beck developed into one of the world’s leading manufacturers of pressure switches for large household appliances.
In the late 1980s, Beck established itself with an adjustable differential pressure switch for monitoring air filters and fans in ventilation and air conditioning technology. In 2000, Beck expanded its product range for this now important sales market with a transmitter for differential pressure, further extending its global market position.
In addition, Beck continues to see itself as a flexible niche supplier of customer-specific pressure monitors and pressure transmitters for original equipment manufacturers in a wide variety of industries.

Beck develops pressure switches and pressure transmitters for liquid and gaseous media, including aggressive substances. The products can be used for overpressure, underpressure and differential pressure (differential pressure sensors). Within the range, both fixed and adjustable switching pressures such as, for example, the 984M.533104b or the 930.83 are available, with versions for different measuring ranges – from 2 mbar to 12 bar.
Many products are available with accessories and in wall- or panel-mount variants. The modular design allows for customized solutions. For applications in air technology and filter monitoring, several models are available as standard with options such as LED display, zero point adjustment and Modbus.
Pressure measurements are often a small part of a larger system – but are critical to safety and functionality. The range includes the Beck series 981, 984 and 985 with different ranges from 20 to 5000 Pascal. Explosion-proof (EX) versions are also available. These transmitters are suitable for measuring overpressure, underpressure and differential pressure of air, non-aggressive and in some cases aggressive media. Several models are available with LED display, Modbus, and automatic or manual zero adjustment.
Which Beck pressure switch is needed depends mainly on what the system requires: the type of medium, the pressure limit to be monitored and whether there is room for adjustment. In these, Beck has models with fixed or adjustable switching pressure, each with their own connection options. If assistance is needed with this, we are happy to help.
A version with ATEX approval also exists of some models, such as the 930.8x series. This is not standard, but is available on request.
