Introduction
The Produal CU Control unit offers extensive functionality for advanced room and zone Control. On the one hand, you can effortlessly Control heating, cooling, and ventilation; on the other hand, the unit easily integrates with a wide range of actuators and sensors. As a result, you benefit from maximum flexibility in new-build or renovation projects where traditional controllers fall short.
The Control unit features two separate controllers and a Cascade controller. The unit offers three operating modes for energy-efficient Control functions. You can configure the controller outputs, setpoints, and dead zone separately for each operating mode. You can connect up to two room units to one Control unit to Control up to two rooms with the same unit. The Control unit supports the following devices as room units: RU, RT, RTX, TRI and ROU-S.
The Control unit has six multifunctional inputs that support passive NTC10 or PT1000 sensors, 0…10 Vdc transmitter signals, and contact functions. In addition, the unit has six multifunctional outputs. These support 0…10 Vdc, 0…20 mA and 24 Vac actuators with a variety of functions, such as heating, cooling, 6-way valve Control, 3-point actuator, fan speed, or VAV.
The Control unit supports the following communication protocols: Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, BACnet MS/TP and BACnet IP.
You can easily configure the Control unit settings with the MyProdual smartphone application. With the app, you can save the configuration in the Produal MyCloud cloud service. You can also update the Control unit firmware via the application.
