Description ABAV-S3 24V
The control unit is designed to meet the requirements to provide reliable fire protection in combination with our smoke detectors. Equipped with relay contacts for controlling dampers and fans. In addition to Smoke Detection, the ABAV-S3 is equipped with a service alarm relay and a fault alarm relay.
In the event of a smoke alarm, a red LED lights up and simultaneously the alarm relay disengages. When a smoke detector indicates a service alarm, the yellow service alarm LED flashes rapidly for one minute. Thereafter, the service alarm relay is energized and the LED lights continuously yellow. If the smoke detector’s service alarm is resolved, the service alarm relay disengages and the yellow LED flashes slowly: alarm memory.
Short circuit or open circuit will energize the fault relay and the alarm relays simultaneously and the respective LED will light up (there is a 10-second delay for open circuit). If the short circuit or open circuit is resolved, the relay disengages and the LED flashes slowly: alarm memory. To test the relays: hold the reset button for 5 seconds.
