Description
Constant volume flow in a compact water circuit
The Belimo C215QFL-E pressure-independent flow limiting valve (PIFLV) is specially designed for pressure-independent limiting or control of water flow in HVAC systems. The valve helps maintain the design flow per circuit without pressure fluctuations directly leading to excess flow. The DN15 sizing clearly indicates the pipe diameter for which this version is intended.
By combining flow limiting and valve function, a clear solution is created for hydraulically balanced terminal units. The circuit receives the required water flow, while unnecessary flow is limited.

Easy integration into the system
- Installation: The DN15 version with Female thread can be integrated into a suitable water-side piping system and combined with the designated Belimo actuator.
- Application: This version is suitable for water-side terminal circuits such as fan coil units, chilled ceilings and smaller heating or cooling groups. The available sizing and flow rate determine which version matches the design flow.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
- What is the C215QFL-E used for?
The valve is used to control or limit the water flow per terminal circuit, independently of normal pressure variations in the system.
- What is the main advantage of this version?
The design flow remains better controllable, supporting hydraulic balance and control quality.
- Which version is suitable for my installation?
Betec Controls will be happy to help compare the sizing, connection, management and other product specifications.
