The CFA-230V is an advanced electronic freeze protection Alarm with a digital display, designed to prevent frost damage in air heating systems using water as the heat transfer Medium. This intelligent Alarm system continuously monitors the water temperature in the heating coil and intervenes immediately when the temperature falls below a critical value.

How does the CFA-230V work?
The CFA-230V is connected to a temperature Sensor that measures the water temperature in the heating coil. Under normal conditions, the temperature is controlled by an external controller or DUC via a control signal (0-10V or 10-0V). When the temperature drops without response from the controller, the CFA takes over and automatically controls the valve.
When the temperature falls below the Alarm threshold, both relay outputs are activated and the system switches to a 100% control signal to prevent freezing.

The CFA-230V is designed for DIN-rail mounting and suitable for standard enclosures. It is compatible with various temperature sensors, including Pt1000 (factory default).
