For measuring the temperature of non-aggressive gases. When attaching the capillary tube, mounting brackets JZ-05 / 6 M (metal) or JZ-05 / 6 K (plastic) must be used before the heating coil. Mounting brackets, immersion tubes, and protective coils are not included in the delivery and must be ordered separately.
The JTF is a fail-safe frost thermostat. The device is specially designed for frost protection. It detects temperatures in air or water flows around or inside hot water heating coils and heat exchangers in ventilation, heating, and/or air conditioning systems and activates the corresponding control commands.
The adjusted setpoint value is secured against incorrect adjustment by applying a lead seal. All devices of this series are tested and certified by TÜV (Technical Inspection Association) according to DIN EN 14597.
Application
The capillary Sensor is active over the entire length. As soon as the value detected by the capillary Sensor over its length (30 cm for variants of 6 m or 60 cm for variants of 12 m) falls below the set setpoint, contact 1-4 closes and contact 1-2 opens.
The trigger length of the capillary does not have to be contiguous; what matters is the total length.
The frost thermostats in this series are available with automatic reset or manual reset types.
