ExMax-5.10-CYF: modulating Ex actuator with 4-20 mA and fail-safe assurance
The Schischek ExMax-5.10-CYF is a compact, explosion-proof ¼-turn actuator with modulating 4-20 mA control and a fail-safe spring return. Primarily, it delivers 5 or 10 Nm of torque for air dampers and valves in Ex rooms. In addition, it operates on a universal supply of 24…240 VAC/DC, making it widely deployable without additional power supplies.
This secures processes in case of power loss, while the IP66 enclosure and 95° travel with pre-tension ensure a guaranteed shut-off. Altogether this is a flexible and reliable actuator for zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.
